Shadow an InjectionU Instructor at our sister institution, Skin by Lovely! You will observe real patient-provider interactions, watch as your instructor puts the skills you’ve just learned into action, see firsthand what it’s like to manage patient comfort during injectable treatment, and more. If you would like to experience the InjectionU immersive without taking one of our courses, you will still get to peek behind the curtain and find out what it feels like to work at a top 0.1% injectable practice in the nation!

Immersion days are designed for participants to see their instructors’ techniques and skills be put into action in the context of a real workday at our specialty clinic.
We encourage you to participate in an observational immersion in conjunction with one or both of our courses. This way, your didactic instruction and hands-on training will inform your observational experience and solidify your learning.
We do offer observational immersions as a stand-alone experience to those who choose not to take our neurotoxin or dermal filler courses.
In both cases, the immersion is your opportunity to see the nuances of the real patient-provider interaction in one of the top injectable practices in the nation!

How does an observational immersion differ from one of your courses?
Our courses include didactic instruction, live injection demonstration carried out by your instructor, and hands-on injection practice on live models carried out by you, the student, under your instructor’s guidance.
During an observational immersion, on the other hand, you will shadow an InjectionU instructor during her real workday at our sister institution, Skin by Lovely.
You will be able to peek inside a day-in-the-life of an injection specialist at an aesthetics practice that has been ranked top 10 in the nation by Allergan, the makers of Botox— that’s the top 0.1%! You will observe real patient-provider interactions in a true specialty context. You will see what it looks like for a provider to walk her patient through the reasoning behind her recommended treatment plan. You will see your instructor manage her patient’s comfort while administering treatment.
Long story short, you will be exposed to so many of the nuances of real practice that contribute to creating an exceptional experience for your future patients!
Can I coordinate for a particular type of treatment, technique, etc. to take place during my immersion?
Although we will do our best to arrange your shadow on a day when the schedule appears to have a mix of treatments that align with your interests, we aren’t able to promise any particular type of treatment during your immersion.
Unlike the models who consent to participate in training for our courses, the patients you will observe during your immersion are real patients. The treatments you observe will depend on the patient’s wishes, and your observation of the appointment will always depend on their permission.
